Alexandra L. Myers

Attorney at Law

Alexandra L. Myers graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2015, with a concentration in Criminal Justice, and the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2009, with a concentration in Communications Studies. While studying at McGeorge, Alexandra received certificates in advocacy and mediation and participated in the Prisoner Civil Rights Mediation Clinic, where she co-mediated section 1983 prisoner civil rights cases in Federal Court for the Eastern District of California under Federal Magistrate Judges Kellison and Newman.

Prior to receiving her Juris Doctorate, Alexandra worked as a law clerk for several family law firms, as well as a certified law clerk at Yolo County District Attorney's office where she assisted the Deputy District Attorney's on felony and misdemeanor cases and represented the People of the State of California in court.

Prior to attending law school, Alexandra worked as a television anchor and reporter, which proved to be excellent preparation for her legal career, as both positions require the ability to communicate to others with ease, while simultaneously delivering a clear, succinct, and persuasive message. This experience allowed her to cultivate a passion for public speaking, and eventually, led to her desire to become an advocate.

Since passing the bar examination in 2016, Alexandra has focused her practice exclusively on family law. She counsels clients in matters of divorce and legal separation, spousal support, property and debt division, paternity, child custody, child visitation, child support, domestic violence restraining orders, and other matters pertaining to family relationships.

Alexandra is a member of the State Bar of California and its Family Law Section (2016), Placer County Bar Association, Family Law Section of Placer County Bar Association, and the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International. She also served as the Member at Large for the Placer County Family Law Executive Committee (2017-2018) and as the Social Committee Chair for Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International (2013-2014).
